Magic is the supernatural force that has the ability to cause a change in reality, it is possessed by many beings such as the Evil Queen, her daughter Raven Queen, the Dark Fairy, her daughter Faybelle Thorn, Fairy Godmother, her daughter Farrah Goodfairy, and Baba Yaga. Fairies are magical creatures made of magic.

Magic is a mysterious but powerful force that can change reality itself and it can be used for both good and evil deeds.
Spells[]
Spells are a set of words that usually rhyme, they are the most common way of employing magic. When a spell is cast it allows the caster to change reality. Most spells are contained in spell books, such as the Evil Queen's spell book who guards Courtly Jester's appearance change spell.
Magic Appearance[]
Each magic user has a specific color of magic that is unique to them. Magic can also manifest in different forms like smoke, fire or lightning.
- Raven Queen's magic is violet fire or mist.
- The Evil Queen's magic is magenta and manifests as fire or smoke like her daughter.
- Faybelle Thorn's magic is light blue lightning.
- The Woodland Pixies' magic is purple and bright green.
- Courtly Jester's magic it's a circle of blooming pink flames.
- Giles and Milton Grimm's magic is bright green.
- Baba Yaga's magic is bright green and yellow.
- Magics from Cheshire Cat's and Kitty Cheshire's is white and violet glow.
- Crystal Winter and the Snow King's is icy blue mist.
- Farrah Goodfairy's is sparkles of soft pink, white and gold.
- Meeshell Mermaid's is light blue and flows like water.
- Bunny Blanc's is light pink smoke
- Nina Thumbell's is bright yellow and glowing.
Magic Objects[]
Many objects possess special powers of their own while some creatures use magical items to channel their powers like, the wands of Farrah Goodfairy, Crystal Winter, the Snow King/Queen, Coral Witch and the Magics Cards from Courtly Jester. Fairy tales are filled with enchanted artifacts such as the Magic Mirror. Poppy O'Hair and her sister Holly O'Hair are given magic hairbrushes by their mother. Cedar Wood revealer rays are a magical pair of glasses that were gifted to her by her father Pinocchio in the "Thronecoming" special, as part of the tradition of students leaving a present in the Heritage Hall, for their descendants to receive during the Thronecoming events. Jillian Beanstalk can sprout a giant beanstalk just by using magic beans.

Magical Abilities[]
Many magical creatures and fairytale characters have magical abilities but do not require spells like witches and fairies do. Mermaids like Meeshell can control water, Bunny Blanc, Jackie Frost, Northwind, and Duchess can shapeshift, Ashlynn Ella can communicate with animals and Madeline Hatter can do anything as long as she doesn't know it is impossible. Apple can also summon any good magical creature or regular animal to aid her. Woodland Pixies are also able to heal people simply by touching the place of their injury. When they use their healing power, their hands glow green. Cheshire Cat and Kitty talk to each other with Cheshire magic. Justine dancer and her sister have eternal dance. Hopper Croakington II turns into a frog when he gets tongue tied. Gigi Grant has genie magic so she can cast 13 wishes. Cedar Wood can only tell the truth. Holly O'Hair has magical Long Hair just like her mom
