The 'Signature - Rebels' doll line is one half of the entire 'Signature' series, the other part comprising the 'Signature - Royals' doll line. Together, they are the first doll series of the franchise and the one that features the characters in non-themed, day-to-day outfits. The 'Signature - Rebels' line was launched Mid 2013 and the original characters featured are Raven Queen and Madeline Hatter, both of whom were released in Early July, 2013. The Rebel-Royal 2-pack featuring Hunter Huntsman and Ashlynn Ella was released in Early October, while Cerise Hood hit stores in Late November. C.A. Cupid ended the 2013 releases in Mid December and Cedar Wood started the 2014 releases in Mid March. The next entry was another Rebel-Royal 2-pack, this one containing Poppy O'Hair and Holly O'Hair, which was released in Late May. Kicking off 2015 was Kitty Cheshire in Early January, followed swiftly by Ginger Breadhouse. Darling Charming has been released in Early May. As of Early-to-Mid June, Rosabella Beauty followed. Melody Piper was later released in Mid October. Courtly Jester and Mira Shards was released in Late, 2015 as part of the line Way Too Wonderland and Dragon Games. Nina Thumbell and Jillian Beanstalk were released in Early May, 2016.

Name[]

The 'Signature - Rebels' line is officially nameless, but referred to as 'Signature' or 'Basic' by the fans. In order to stay consistent the Ever After High Wiki favors the 'Signature' designation. The Ever After High Wiki also opts to consider the encompassing 'Signature' series split between 'Signature - Rebels' and 'Signature - Royals' as per the assortment setup. In the shopping section of the everafterhigh website the signature dolls are sorted into the collection called "Originals."

Fiction[]

The 'Signature - Rebels' series does not have specific fiction to support, as the dolls represent the characters in their default fashion. Nearly every piece of fiction to feature the characters has them wearing (or can be assumed to have them wearing) their 'Signature - Rebels' fashion.

Notes[]

  • In Late 2014, problems occurred in the manufacturing process of the 'Signature' dolls, which is why no new dolls joined the lineup between July 2014 and Early 2015. For most dolls, the problems only meant a delay, but Kitty Cheshire ended up with no arm warmers.
  • Currently, Only three characters had an update on their face sculpts, Namely Raven Queen, Madeline Hatter and Melody Piper.
