Cerise Hood debuted in the cartoon series in the Chapter 1 webisode "The World of Ever After High", which premiered on May 30, 2013. She is voiced by Rena S. Mandel in the English version of the cartoon.

Cerise steals a meat lovers pizza off Blondie and offers admission into the bookball team, but is rejected by Sparrow Hood, who speaks in unison of the boys that girls shouldn't play. Cerise receives an electronic picnic basket by her mother in Heritage Hall. She is interviewed by Blondie and believes that Raven's choice doesn't affect much. Cerise cheers the boys on in the bookball game, but is tethering on the edge of her seat finding that Ever After High is losing against the Giants. Cerise is in the watching audience. Ashlynn's Fashion Frolic Cerise is asked by Faybelle what route is the most dangerous, and she points out to her that it is the Dark Forest. Through the Woods Cerise runs over to Cedar and is concerned on whether or not Ashlynn and the bunch successfully made it to the venue as she heard bears talking about Blondie, who went with them, in the Dark Forest. Driving Me Cuckoo Cerise beats everyone to the top of the Legacy Orchard staircase. She attends the class field trip to the Legacy Orchard. The Legacy Orchard Cerise lines up for the bake sale. Sugar Coated Cerise goes for a morning run. Cerise watches Apple and Raven's croquet match. Croquet-Tastrophe! Cerise helps Rosabella with her search for the missing animals. The Fairest Five shock everyone with their fresh spring fashion. Cerise and a few others sit down on the Fairest Wheel, she is joined by Hopper who she initially tells to get off. Nonetheless, the five of them enjoy a Fairest Wheel ride together until the troll controlling it sneezes and Cerise is spun out of control. The Fairest Five are furious at Kitty who is the causer of the Fairest Wheel fiasco. Cerise is baffled that the Storybook of Legends has been brought back, but it's a confirmed fake. Cerise finds Humphrey to get off the wall and remove his jetpacks, but Humphrey is convinced that he's invincible and crashes himself into a wall. Cerise spots Cedar sitting on a bench eating a tower-tea cake, which Cedar denies hastily. Cerise is speechless to find out that Cedar is able to tell lies. Cerise emerges out of the shadows and notifies Raven and Holly that she'll believe their theories. Cerise and her friends follow Apple to the well's location and are unsuccessful with pulling the plug out. She runs to Book End and hopes for Apple to snap out of it but is consumed by the curse. Cerise enjoys a day of happiness in the Spring Fairest with her friends and would fret on the missing Storybook another time. Spring Unsprung Cerise has breakfast in the castleteria. Cerise watches Jillian Beanstalk climb the beanstalk, and then watches Humphrey Dumpty climb it. Beanstalk Bravado The female narrator says "A new student. Well, an older student returns to school." Lizzie talks about a student she says has real wolf claws, which Faybelle replies that she heard the student howls at the moon. Raven says "poor Cerise" and Apple says it's "their" destiny to be enemies. Cerise comes over asking what's up and what's so exciting, which a girl whose introduction introduces as Ramona Badwolf appears saying it's her they're talking about. Ramona walks over and Madeline exclaims "It's Ramona Badwolf!". Ramona says hello to Cerise, but Cerise just tells her she knew she smelled wet dog. Ramona tells Cerise she couldn't find her way out of a paper bag. Mr. Badwolf comes over, telling them that they'd better get moving or he'll blow them to class. Mr. Badwolf blows, and Cerise walks off unamused. Mr. Badwolf begins to talk to Ramona about the importance of getting along, but Ramona just says "Talk to the paw, Dad" and leaves. Meanwhile, in Grimmnastics class, Cerise is getting asked by Blondie Lockes about whether or not Cerise had Ramona sent to a reform school in the Dark Forest, which Cerise responds 'no comment' to. Ramona busts Cerise's volleyball, and Gingerbreadman calls her to the headmaster's office. Ramona walks over to Cerise and tells her she'll see her after school. Ramona leaves and Blondie announces to the school see a battle between the two after school. After that, Cerise pulls off a poster in the hall and says it's ridiculous and says that she thinks she, the latter and Ramona can solve their own problems. Ramona says she agrees and asks if Cerise accepts her challenge. Cerise accepts and says "Let's settle this right now." Badwolf finds them about to fight and calls them both into his classroom. In the classroom, the latter is very upset with them both, and both his daughters say at the same time: "Dad! She started it!". Ramona complains in these words: "Oohhh, mysterious secret! Look at me, I'm a hood!". Cerise says she's not doing it for herself and calls Ramona mean. Badwolf scolds them and says how important it is to keep the family secret. Ramona says "I know, I know, if anyone knew that Big Bad married Little Red." Then Cerise says they would flip their crowns. Mr. Badwolf says that's right so until graduation, their family should remain a secret. "Now, let's give the public a real competition!" he says. Then at the Grimmnastic race game, Ramona asks Cerise: "You ready for this, sis?" and Cerise says: "Oh yeah!" and then they run off. A Big Bad Secret!

Cerise sits with Darling and the pair are introduced to Mira Shards. They trade introductions. Later in the day, Cerise and Darling ask to sit next to Mira, with Apple and Raven, but Mira dismisses their company. She and Darling find somewhere else to sit. When the school is under attack, Cerise aids her sister Ramona Badwolf in freeing their father from being entangled from the growing branches around the new evil school. Cerise is one of the students who escaped the evil school and she attends Apple's funeral. She and Darling hop onto Herowing as they fly back to school, assisting Apple. Dragon Games Blondie tells about the news, gets frustrated, and Cerise confronts her. She tells Cerise that she wants to win the Princess and the Peabody Award. Epic Winter
